(Graphite Rod)

The Graphite IV SP series was introduced in 1993, with 64-milion modulus graphite and the revolutionary Durascrim process.

It has been totally disassembled and rebuilt. I tried to restore it to its former originality.

Despite a deep polish, several marks are still present on the rod, caused by intense usage and previous inaccurate rod builder's work.

The look of the rod is typical SAGE style, the stripping guide has been changed to a green agate and the snakes are rigorously Snake Brand.

The reel seat is composed of a fragment of green pigmented spalted beech and stabilized (as in the models of the time) and a Lemke Concept hardware with the butt cap redesigned and made in my workshop.

The rod is really powerful, undoubtedly adapted for catching large fish, perhaps pursued by streamers.

I hope the rod will give many emotions.

La serie Graphite IV SP fu presentata nel 1993, con 64-milion modulus graphite ed il rivoluzionario processo Durascrim.

E' stata totalmente smontata e ricostruita. Ho cercato di ridonarle la sua antica originalità.

Nonostante una lucidatura profonda sono ancora presenti diversi segni sul fusto, dovuti ad una gravosa usura e da precedenti interventi eseguiti da rod builder poco accurati.

Il look della canna è il tipico di SAGE, è stato sostituito lo stripping guide con un' agata verde e le serpentine che sono rigorosamente Snake Brand.

Il reel seat è composto da un frammento di faggio spalted pigmentato verde e stabilizzato (come nei modelli dell'epoca) e da una meccanica Lemke Concept con il butt cap ridisegnato e realizzato nel mio lab.

La canna è molto potente, senza dubbio adatta al recupero di grosse prede, insidiate magari a streamer.

Spero che la canna regalerà molte emozioni.

Caro Giancarlo, vivi questa canna fino in fondo... io penso che ne varrà la pena !
