MHX Gen 2 - 9'0'' 3wt. 4pc

Another MHX blank that I really like, with a matt carbon finish.

The rod has its usual sober and clean look, all in tones of honey yellow.

The grip is a classic Western style, combined with a magnificent spacer made from stabilised buckeye burl.

The hardware is a beautiful Lemke Concept, made totally of aluminium with a nickel-silver finish.

I have also added a set of "Morgan Style" ferrule rings, made in my workshop in Ergal for safety and for a superior aesthetic finish.

The rod has a fast but not overly aggressive action; it is very sensitive at the tip and makes for an excellent, lightweight all-round.

Un altro grezzo di casa MHX che apprezzo molto, con finitura matt carbon.

La canna ha un look sobrio e pulito come al solito, tutto sulle tonalità del giallo miele.

Il grip è un classico western, unito ad magnifico spacer in radica di buckeye, stabilizzata.

La meccanica è una bellissima Lemke Concept, tutta in alluminio con finitura nickel silver.

Ho aggiunto anche dei ferrule rings "Morgan Style" realizzati nel mio lab in ergal per sicurezza e per un effetto estetico superiore.

La canna ha un'azione veloce ma non esasperata, è molto sensibile in punta, un' ottima all-round leggera.

Mc Farland Spruce Creek - 8'6'' 5wt. 3pc.

The Spruce Creek was the first model of McFarland glass rod produced.

The rod feels like a glass rod should feel. They are soft, smooth, and deep flexing with the perfect balance of power from tip to butt.

Is ideal for everything from swinging soft hackles to throwing streamers. (Words by Mike McFarland)

My aesthetic approach is very sober, as usual: total cork for spacers and grip, antique-finish brass hardware and ghost-finish wraps, to highlight and not detract the wonderful honey-yellow colour of the blank.

There is only one accent, a pigeon’s blood colour, of the beautiful "perfect" agate, which I have personally blued to create a striking contrast.

I hope this jewel will give my dear friend Fabrizio some memorable adventures!

La Spruce Creek è stata il primo modello di canna da pesca in fibra di vetro prodotta da McFarland.

Offre le sensazioni che una canna in fibra di vetro dovrebbe avere: è morbida, fluida e con una flessibilità profonda, con un perfetto equilibrio di potenza dalla punta al calcio.

E' ideale per qualsiasi tipo di pesca, dalla pesca con mosche morbide al lancio di streamer. (Parole di Mike McFarland)

La mia interpretazione estetica è molto sobria come al solito: spacer e grip tutto sughero, una meccanica in ottone anticato e legature ghost, per esaltare e non inquinare il meraviglioso colore giallo miele del grezzo.

C'è solo un accento, colore rosso sangue di piccione, della bellissima agata "perfect" che ho personalmente brunito, per create un forte contrasto.

Io spero che questo gioiello farà vivere avventurosi momenti al mio caro Amico Fabrizio !

This is a surprising Korean-made blank, beautifully crafted with a stunning mahogany colour and a glossy finish, designed as a travel rod.

For the rod, we’ve opted for a traditional, classic look in brown tones, a nickel silver-finished "Lemke Concept" hardware, a stunning fragment of zebra wood exhibition-grade;

four ‘Morgan Style’ ferrule rings, crafted in-house lab, have also been added to make the joints more secure and visually appealing.

Finally, we chose two ‘Perfect’ stripping guides in white and brown agate, which lend a distinctive character to the whole piece.

This rod has a progressive action, ready to deliver a wonderful feel in the hands of an angler out on the stunning Norwegian waters !

Questo è un sorprendente grezzo di fabbricazione coreana, di ottima fattura, con un bellissimo color mogano e finitura lucida, pensata come canna da viaggio.

Per la canna abbiamo scelto un look tradizionale e classico sui toni del marrone, una meccanica "Lemke Concept" con finitura nickel silver,

una splendida essenza di zebra wood exibition grade, sono state aggiunte anche quattro ferrule ring "Morgan Style" realizzati in lab che rendono gli innesti più sicuri e accattivanti.

Infine abbiamo scelto due stripping guide in agata bianca e marrone "Perfect" che regalano una forte personalità a tutto l'insieme.

La canna ha una azione progressiva, pronta a regalare splendide sensazioni tra le mani di un pescatore immerso nelle meravigliose acque Norvegesi !
