This is a blank distributed by the Italian company "Gatti Fly Rods", developed for modern European nymph fishing techniques.

The rod has a progressive/moderate action, with a very sensitive tip that allows you to feel the slightest vibrations and a butt section with a respectable reserve of power.

It is absolutely ideal for french nymph, using ultra-light nymphs.

As usual, the rod has a rather dark and understated look.

The grip is an ultra-lightweight, reinterpreted full-wells design in carbon fibre, combined with a reel seat made completely of black anodised aluminium.

The single-leg guides are "Snake Brand", wrapped in garnet silk with silver tips.

The result is a very light rod, only 75g, which is easy to handle and very sensitive…

Questo è un grezzo distribuito dall'italiana Gatti fly rods, sviluppato per le moderne tecniche di pesca a ninfa europee.

L'azione della canna è progressiva, ha un tip molto sensibile che permette di percepire le minime vibrazioni e un butt con una discreta riserva di potenza.

E' assolutamente indicata per la ninfa a filo, usando ninfe ultra leggere.

Il look della canna è piuttosto scuro e sobrio come a solito.

Il grip è un leggerissimo full wells rivisitato in carbonio unito ad un porta mulinello interamente in alluminio anodizzato nero.

Le anellature mono piede sono di "Snake Brand" legate con seta garnet e filetti argento.

Il risultato è una canna molto leggera, solo 75g. , maneggevole e molto sensibile…

… Spero sarà un' ottima compagna di pesca !

This is a blank distributed by my friend Marc from MB Customrods, specially developed for modern European Nymphing techniques.

The blanks are made from high-quality Japanese Toray Carbon with medium modulation, to make it lightweight and highly durable.

The semi-parabolic action reliably cushions fast runs and reduces the risk of overloading fine leaders or small hooks during the fight.

The look of the rod is rather sober, as usual :

The grip is a comfortable full-Wells grip made from Sardinian cork, combined with a beautiful fragment of cross-cut zebrawood.

The hardware is a new design by Lemke Concept, made from silver down-lock aluminium.

The single-foot guides are by Snake Brand, threaded with honey-yellow silk.

The result is a very light, easy-to-handle and sensitive rod…

… It’ll make an excellent fishing companion!

Questo è un grezzo distribuito dal mio amico Marc di MB customrods, sviluppato per le moderne tecniche di pesca a ninfa europee.

I grezzi sono realizzati in carbonio Toray giapponese di alta qualità con modulazione media, per ottenere un peso ridotto e un'ottima resistenza.

L' azione semi-parabolica ammortizza efficacemente le fughe veloci e riduce il rischio di sovraccaricare i finali sottili o gli ami piccoli durante il combattimento.

Il look della canna è piuttosto sobrio come a solito :

Il grip è un confortevole full wells in sughero sardo unito ad un bellissimo frammento di zebra-wood cross-cut.

La meccanica è un nuovo disegno di Lemke Concept in alluminio silver down lock.

Le anellature mono piede sono di Snake Brand segate con seta giallo miele.

Il risultato è una canna molto leggera, maneggevole e sensibile…

… Sarà un' ottima compagna di pesca !

MHX Gen 2 "Tiffany" - 9'0'' 3wt. 4pc

Another MHX blank that I really like, with a matt carbon finish.

The rod has its usual sober and clean look, all in tones of Tiffany sky-blue.

The grip is a high-performance slim-fit model, combined with a magnificent spacer made from stabilised box elder burl.

The hardware is a Stalk-Ber, made totally in ergal featuring Tiffany inlay.

I have also added a set of "Morgan Style" ferrule rings, made in my workshop in Ergal for safety and for a superior aesthetic finish.

The rod has a fast but not overly aggressive action; it is very sensitive at the tip and makes for an excellent, lightweight all-round.

Un altro grezzo di casa MHX che apprezzo molto, con finitura matt carbon.

La canna ha un look sobrio e pulito come al solito, tutto sulle tonalità del celeste Tiffany.

Il grip è un performante slim-fit, unito ad magnifico spacer in radica di box elder, stabilizzata.

La meccanica è una Stalk-Ber, tutta in ergal con un itarsio Tiffany.

Ho aggiunto anche dei ferrule rings "Morgan Style" realizzati nel mio lab in ergal per sicurezza e per un effetto estetico superiore.

La canna ha un'azione veloce ma non esasperata, è molto sensibile in punta, un' ottima all-round leggera.
