This is a glass blank "Special", rolled by Mike Mc Farland exclusively for "Alternative Tackle".

I'm very enthusiastic to have worked on this blank which represents my collaboration with "The Collective" A.T. full of "crazy and genius" rod builders, such as Christian, Nico, George, Calum etc....

The rod has a very deep action, with a nice reactive butt that can boost our line if necessary.

The look of the rod is simple and sober, as I usually do. I chose a nice Turkish walnut burl fragment,

a comfortable half-wells grip and a classic polished brass hardware to give the whole ensemble a timeless look.

It will be possible to see and test the rod during BFFI 2024, which will take place on 10 and 11 February in UK.

Questo è un grezzo "Special" in vetro, rullato da Mike Mc Farland esclusivamente per "Alternative Tackle".

Sono molto entusiasta di aver lavorato su questo grezzo che rappresenta la mia collaborazione con "il Collettivo" A.T. pieno di "pazzi e geniali" rod builders, tra i quali Christian, Nico, George, Calum etc....

La canna ha una azione molto profonda, con un bel butt reattivo che può spingere la nostra coda se necessario.

Il look della canna è abbastanza e sobrio, come mio solito. Ho scelto un bel frammento di radica di noce turco,

un confortevole grip half-wells ed una classica meccanica in ottone lucidato per conferire un aspetto classico a tutto l'insieme.

Sarà possibile vedere e provare la canna, durante il BFFI 2024 che avrà luogo il prossimo 10 e 11 febbraio in UK.
