This time I dedicated myself to the construction of a beautiful Kabuto glass,

powerful but with all the unique advantages of fibreglass that result in a smooth casting sensation, easy line control and the usual elasticity that perfectly matches the movements of prey and prevents tippet breakage.

The rod has an extremely clean and essential look as required, with a little old-fashioned style appeal.

The ghost wrapps create the illusion that the black nickel snakes are suspended in a space, the spacer is hugged by a classic e antiqued hardware in sinuous continuity with the grip half wells. The only element is the cork, which by its very neutral nature leaves the dark yellow line typical of these blanks almost untouched.

The rod was built for a dear Friend of mine who lives in the beautiful Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, no doubt he will make good use of the most beautiful and clear waters he will find.

Questa volta mi sono dedicato alla costruzione di un bellissimo vetro Kabuto, potente ma con tutti i vantaggi unici della fibra di vetro che si traducono in sensazione di lancio mobido, facilità nel controllo della coda e consueta elasticità che asseconda perfettamente i movimenti delle prede e previene la rottura dei tippet.

La canna ha un look estremamente pulito ed essenziale come richiesto, con un piccolo richiamo old style.

Le legature trasparenti creano l'illusione che le serpentine black nickel siano sospese nel vuoto, lo spacer è abbracciato da una meccanica classica e anticata in sinuosa continuità col grip half wells. Unico elemento il sughero che per sua natura così neutra, lascia quasi inalterata la linea dark yellow tipica di questi grezzi.

La canna è stata costruita per un mio caro Amico che vive nello splendido Friuli-Venezia Giulia, senza dubbio saprà farne buon uso tra le acque più belle e limpide che potrà trovare.
