Tom Morgan Rodsmiths 7'6'' 5wt.

(Fiberglass Rod)

This is a fantastic blank, one of my favourites of the whole series, it belongs to the new generation of TMR blanks in garnet colour.

The blank was rolled by Kerry Burkheimer, who rolled glass blanks for Tom Morgan for a long time, before handing the sceptre over to Mike Mc Farland, which today produces their blanks.

The rod has a deep and soft loading action, powerful and progressive action with perfect balance and a very sensitive tip.

I built this magnificent rod with the intention of giving it an understated and elegant look.

I included many old school references to give it a romantic and timeless look.

The grip is a velvety slim-fit in continuity with a high grade circassian spacer stabilised.

The hardware is made in german silver with pom and brass inlays on the butt cap, produced personally in my workshop.

The wraps are in cherry colour silk and tip in black.

The red/orange by "Perfect Agate" stipping guide creates a liaison between the colour of the silk and the amber-brown colour of the spacer.

It will be really difficult to let go of this rod that I love.

I hope the new owner will preserve and use this "girl" with the care she deserves !

Questo è un grezzo fantastico, uno dei miei preferiti di tutta la serie, appartiene alla nuova generazione di grezzi TMR in color garnet.

Il grezzo è stato rullato da Kerry Burkheimer, che ha rullato per molto tempo i grezzi in vetro per Tom Morgan, prima di passare lo scettro a Mike Mc Farland che oggi realizza i loro grezzi.

La canna ha un caricamento morbido e profondo, azione potente e progressiva con un perfetto equilibrio ed un vettino molto sensibile.

Ho costruito questa magnifica canna con l'intenzione di darle un aspetto sobrio ed elegante.

Ho inserito molti richiami alla vecchia scuola per darle un look romantico e intramontabile.

Il grip è un vellutato slim-fit in continuità con un pregiatissimo spacer in circassian stabilizzato.

La meccanica è interamente in german silver con intarsi in pom e ottone sul fondo, prodotta personalmente nel mio lab.

Le legature sono in seta color ciliegia con filetti neri.

Lo stipping guide in agata colore rosso/arancio by "Perfect Agate" per creare una liaison tra il colore della seta e il colore marrone ambrato dello spacer.

Sarà realmente difficile lasciar andare via dalle mie mani questa canna che adoro.

Mi auguro che il nuovo proprietario conservi e usi questa "ragazza" con la cura che merita !
