CTS QUARTZ | 7.6 4wt. - Tea
(FIBERGLASS ROD)
Beautiful blank from CTS house in translucent Tea colour (one of my favourite colours) and black signature on my request.
The look of the rod is classic and sober, even a little vintage "which for me is always in fashion".
For the spacer I used a very prestigious circassian from Eastern Europe.
The hardware is brass, smooth and blued in my lab with a special technique used for the restoration of antique weapons in order to obtain a very aged look, I also added a black POM inlay inserted in the butt cap.
The guides are by ''Snake Brand'' and the brown agate stripping guide is made by Ernest Czeladz of ''Perfect Agate''.
Wraps made of gold-coloured Japanese silk and black tip complete the assembly.
This rod has a pleasant and comfortable action, classic of the fiberglass but at the same time has a considerable reserve of power.

Il look della canna è classico e sobrio, anche un po' retrò "che per me è sempre di moda".
Per lo spacer o utilizzato una pregiatissimo circassian proveniente dall' Est Europa.
La meccanica è in ottone, liscia e brunita nel mio lab con una particolare tecnica utilizzata per il restauro di armi antiche col fine di ottenere un aspetto molto invecchiato, ho anche aggiunto un intarsio in POM nero inserito nel butt cap.
Le serpentine sono by "Snake Brand" e lo stripping guide in agata marrone, realizzato da Ernest Czeladz di "Perfect Agate".
Le legature eseguite con seta giapponese color oro e filetti neri completano il montaggio.
Questa canna ha una piacevole e confortevole azione, classica della fibra di vetro ma nello stesso tempo ha una notevole riserva di potenza.
