This is an exciting project but unusual for me because of the difficulty in using rods with these characteristics in Italian waters. In fact, this powerful Spey will compete with some nice salmon in Norwegian waters, in the expert hands of Alessio who is an excellent specialist in this technique. The blank comes from the USA, designed by Gary Loomis who needs no introduction... it has a beautiful spiral surface finish. The look of the rod is sober and aggressive, a "Lemke Concept" hardware with black finish. Single-foot REC in nickel/titanium, three CERECOIL stripping guides, black nylon wraps. The rod is extremely powerful, ready to face the powerful fins of a salmon on the run!
Questo è un progetto entusiasmante ma per me inusuale, per la difficoltà nell'utilizzo di canne con queste caratteristiche in acque italiane. Infatti questa potente Spey andrà a confrontarsi con qualche bel salmone in acque norvegesi, nelle esperte mani di Alessio che è un autorevole specialista di questa tecnica. Il grezzo proviene dagli USA, è un progetto di Gary Loomis che non ha bisogno di molte presentazioni... ha una bellissima finitura superficiale a spirale.
Il look della canna è sobrio e aggressivo, una meccanica "Lemke Concept" con finitura nera. Anelli monoponte REC in nickel/titanio, tre stripping guide CERECOIL, legature in nylon nero. La canna è estremamente potente, pronta a fronteggiare le potenti pinnate di un salmone in fuga !
