On a warm and windy afternoon in spring last year , while I was walking among my olive trees , I noticed a small branch moving by the wind... It seemed like a fly rod during recovery of a brown trout... From that branch in motion , is born the desire to dress these golden olive blanks with that olive wood , so rich of dark venis , with such an intense fragrance , that remindes me so much about the amazing countrysides in middle Italy. I’ve created in my lab a blued hardware with classic silhouette remindful the black venis of reel seat , typical of olive wood . Wraps are clear silk trimmed in black for the same reason. I’ve tried to transfer to these rods a warm and clean style , with typical italian materials.
All this just in time for spring and for the joy of two special friends...Fabio e Pasquale !!

In un tiepido e ventilato pomeriggio di primavera dello scorso anno, mentre passeggiavo tra i miei alberi di ulivo, ho notato un piccolo ramo che si fletteva... sembrava una canna da mosca durante il recupero di una brown trout... Da quel ramo in movimento, è nato il desiderio di vestire questi grezzi golden olive con quel legno d'ulivo così ricco di scure venature dal profumo intenso che tanto mi ricorda le meravigliose campagne del centro Italia. Ho creato nel mio lab una meccanica brunita dalle forme classiche che ricordasse le venature nere del reel seat, tipiche dell'olive wood. Le legature sono trasparenti con filetti neri Wraps are per lo stesso motivo. Ho cercato di trasmettere a queste canne uno stile caldo e pulito con materiali tipicamente italiani. Tutto questo in tempo per la primavera e per la gioia di due amici speciali... Fabio e Pasquale !!
