Another blank designed by Gary Loomis (of NFC), who certainly needs no introduction.

Lightweight, powerful and with a very sensitive tip, a powerful all-around for those who like "straight backs".

The fusion look of the rod has recalls of the 1970s and early 1900s, recognisable in the butt cap and winding check.

I used a beautiful stabilised buckeye fragment from the USA, encased in an ergal and POM hardware that I personally made in my lab.

Delicious light-blue Japanese silk and azure tips anchor SB's snakes and a beautiful sky-banded “perfect” agate.

Ferrule rings for safety and aesthetic complement...

I hope she will be a fishing companion up to every challenge !

Un altro grezzo progettato da Gary Loomis (di casa NFC), che non ha certo bisogno di presentazioni.

Leggero, potente e con un vettino molto sensibile, un all-around potente per quelli che amano le "schiene dritte".

Il look fusion della canna ha richiami degli anni 70 e dei primi anni del 900, identificabili nel butt cap e nel winding check.

Ho usato un bellissimo frammento di buckeye stabilizzato, proveniente dagli USA, incastonato in una meccanica in ergal e POM che ho personalmente realizzato nel mio lab.

Una deliziosa seta giapponese celeste e filetti azzurri ancorano le serpentine di SB e una bellissima agata "pefect" celeste-banded.

Ferrule rings per la sicurezza e per un completamento estetico...

Spero che sarà una compagna di pesca all'altezza di ogni sfida !

Another fast rod for the ‘Italian Style’ casting technique.

The look of the rod as usual is classic and essential, as required.

The grip is a cigar, extremely comfortable, the spacer is a beautiful fragment of spalted maple burl.

This time I used a beautiful Struble threaded hardware following some specific requirements.

However, I wanted to customise the hardware by substituting the bottom cap with one designed and made in my lab.

A beautiful brown-variegated agate by Perfect Agate, SB snakes and brown-medium silk wraps with brown/light brown accents complete the assembly.

I hope the new owner will be satisfied technically but also aesthetically (which is always important).

Un'altra canna veloce per la tecnica di lancio "Italian Style".

Il look della canna come al solito è classico ed essenziale, come richiesto.

Il grip è uno sigaro, estremamente confortevole, lo spacer è un bellissimo frammento di radica di acero spalted.

Questa volta ho utilizzato una bellissima meccanica a vite di Struble seguendo alcune specifiche richieste.

Ho voluto comunque personalizzare la meccanica sostituendo il bottom cap con uno disegnato e realizzato nel mio lab.

Una bellissima agata marrone-variegata by Perfect Agate, serpentine SB e legature in seta marrone-medio con accenti in marrone/chiaro, completano il montaggio.

Spero che il nuovo proprietario sarà soddisfatto a livello tecnico ma anche estetico (che ha sempre la sua importanza).

This is a blank that certainly needs no special presentation.

I personally found it to be a masterpiece from the house of SAGE. It was created to fully satisfy lovers of the Euro nymphing technique and not just that.

The rod overall is very light and performs well for both nymphing but I also consider it exceptional for dry fly.

Used matrials are only the best the market has to offer.

The grip is a slim-fit cork top flor, the spacer is a beautiful fragment of Tuscan olive wood, I have personally produced and blued the hardware in my workshop with a burgundy acrylic inlay, guides Snake Brand L.W. blocked with a wonderful warm burgundy coloured Japanese silk.

This beautiful rod is ready to go for a swim in the splendid waters of Poland.

I hope it will satisfy the new owner !

Questo è un grezzo che certamente non necessita di particolari presentazioni.

E' un capolavoro di casa SAGE. Nasce per soddisfare al massimo gli amanti della tecnica di Euro nymphing e non solo.

La canna nel complesso è molto leggera e performante sia per la ninfa ma la trovo eccezionale anche per la secca.

I matriali usati sono solo quello che di meglio offre il mercato.

Il grip è uno slim-fit in sughero top flor, lo spacer è un bellissimo frammento di ulivo toscano, ho personalmente prodotto e brunito la meccanica nel mio lab con un intarsio in acrilico burgundy, serpentine di Snake Brand L.W. bloccate con una meravigliosa e calda seta giapponese color burgundy.

Lo stile che ho usato per alcuni dettagli è quello tipico di SAGE mischiandolo con alcune mie peculiarità costruttive.

Questa splendida canna è pronta per andarsi a bagnare nelle splendide acque della Polonia.

Spero saprà soddisfare il nuovo proprietario !
